The other day I wanted to do a little 4 wheeling and fly my drone in the river canyon. I wasn't sure even if the river would be flowing this time year but there is snow on the ground and I wanted to capture that too.
The road to get the canyon was covered in snow and I haven't been there enough to be able to find it without a road, so we only did a tiny bit 4 wheelin and stopped to fly.
It was nice out, the sun shining and so I flew just over a mile to the canyon and back. Did a couple 360's of area too.
When it came time to edit, I had shot in 4k 60 so wanted to keep resolution and frame rate. I put it all together, added music... then it's time to render and my computer froze, tried again and got an error. Dang it my computer should be able to handle... It's already been a few hours and try for 3rd time. This time it completes in 2.5hrs but on playback it's choppy ad frozen. I then try to play the original files and now those won't play either and I already deleted them off the memory card. (Note to self, don't do that until I have done all editing) I'm a little down thinking I lost the video.
Now, this morning, I'm going thru my photos and I realize that I had set the drone to also download footage and photos to my phone. So, I go ahead an edit and add music using an app on my phone. YouTube however, wouldn't let me upload from phone, so I had to upload to DropBox, then download to computer, to upload to YouTube. On my phone I was only able to render in 1080 and upon viewing, I'm not sure it's even at that quality, as it doesn't look as good as I thought it should. However, it's up and ready to view.

Oh and I'm trying out DTube as an alternative to YouTube, so this is my first video posted there.

Not sure I want to share on fb. Lots of changes happening, some things in limbo. Been a roller coaster for a few weeks now.
Today was a magical day in the pasture! Rowdy was having the time of her life doing zoomies. Watching her race around, and tail flying, was pure joy.
Seeing her play reminds us of the simple pleasures in life. If you need a smile today, just picture her galloping, full of energy and spirit. 💖

And I’m not here to make you comfortable.
I’m here to say what they hope stays quiet.
We are so conditioned not to see. We fill in blanks with familiar stories instead of confronting uncomfortable truths.
